Game Tournaments AU08

Friday Night was an AWESOME night!  Great turn out with over 30 people signing up for tournaments.  We ended up running 5 tournaments (SSBB, Halo 3, CoD4, SOC4, Rock Band 2).  We gave away 2 games in our raffle, and many many t-shirts!  Thanks for everyone who attended and Special special thanks to everyone who helped out.  We plan to hold another one this school year.

Free raffles will be held throughout the night for various prizes including games, gift cards, and t-shirts.

Free recreational play will be available throughout the night on various games including board/card games.

Tournament sign-ups will close at 8:00pm Friday night.

Tournaments will start at 8:30pm

Every game station will be open for free play until tournaments start.  Once tournaments start, many stations will be reserved for tournament play.  However, some will remain open for rec. play.

The tournaments that are for sure being held are:

Halo 3 – Call of Duty 4 (xbox 360) – Super Smash Bro’s Brawl (wii)

Additional tournaments are still possible depending on demand and resources.

Tournament entry fees are $5 per person per tournament or $15 per person for entry in unlimited tournaments.

Free food and beverages will be present. (pizza, snacks, cookies, and soda/pop)
