I originally showed this at the last meeting, and was going to wait a while until the second demo was completed next week, but it seems it might take longer than expected, so I think I'll just post it up now.
For those who weren't at the meeting, First Fantasy is what I turned my attention to once it became clear to me that my shooting game (see my 'Actionscript- shooting problem' topic) wasn't going to be that easy to complete. The game is a text based RPG with a (mostly) serious story (if you've ever played a 'Tales Of...' series game and liked the story, that's what I'm going for here), taking a couple jabs at RPG's along the way.
The current demo features one regular battle, one decision that influences the boss battle, and the boss battle itself.

The second demo, which will be released in a week of two, will add on the first city, Falk Town (including weapon shop, inn, and four new enemies to fight freely) as well as the save system, and of course, a bit more of the game's plot in addition to other small improvements (the ability to name your partner something other than Haruka for example; I just wanted to cut back on resemblance to actual people, considering the game's story... but you'll find that out later).
Later on, I'll need some testers to help me out with playing through the game every possible way- since one of the things I want to do (and I said this at the meeting) was to have a unique experience depending on your choices throughout the game. But that's far off, though.
Hehe... acting like this will be a completed game this early... I am such a freshman
