    That's right, the current unreal engine is free for indie developers and modders. Here's the link to learn more and download the sdk http://www.moddb.com/engines/unreal-engine-3/news/unreal-engine-3-free-to-indies This might be useful to our group in creating something interesting.

    The period at the end of your link makes it go to the wrong place when clicked. You might want to edit your post. I saw this too yesterday at tigsource.com and it looks really awesome.

    You have to be careful though, they say "indie" but they mean non-commercial.

    The article mentions it but I want to reiterate the irony that this happens just one week after Unity was released for non-commercial use.

    Other then that, this is great! I'll definitely try this out once I get my desktop with me.
