Guide

The Game Creation Club has started to work on a getting starting guide that will help newcomers that may be overwhelmed by what to do first. Initially, this will cover how to get started in positions like Programmer, Artist, Musician, and etcetera, with advice on what programs to start with, who to talk to in the club, and general tips. Later, we may expand it so it covers other topics under the general GCC goals including breaking into the industry and other things we may think of.

The current state of the guide is small (only the programming section has an adequate level of content), and it is being worked on and expanded.

If you want to help, read this forum topic first: http://gamedev.osu.edu/community/forums/topic.php?id=414
