8/31 Meeting: Introductions
Hello everyone,Welcome to Game Creation Club! And if you’re a returning member, welcome back! We hope you had a good summer, and are looking forward to another great semester with you all!Our first meeting of the semester will take place on Wednesday, August 31st in Enarson 246 from 7:00pm-8:30pm. It will be an introductory meeting where we will go over what the club has planned, showcase a game or two, and have a group activity! The meeting will also be streamed over Discord in the Club Meeting Room channel for those who are unable to attend in person.If you haven’t already, we highly recommend joining our Discord! There you can find announcements and interact with the community. End of Semester + Summer Activities!

Congrats on making it through the semester! Now that finals are over, hopefully you have plenty of time to relax. As you may know, GCC does not host official meetings over the summer, but we will be having plenty of chill events on our Discord (including a Minecraft server)! Feel free to swing by if you ever want to hang out with fellow club members!

4/20 Meeting: Game Night

This Wednesday marks the last meeting of the semester! This semester has been great, thanks for helping to make this club amazing! Because finals are coming up, we will be having a game night this week. We will be playing Jackbox, so bring any controllers/devices you may need. The meeting will take place from 7:00pm-8:30pm on April 20th in Enarson Classroom Building Room 258. The game will also be streamed to Discord, so you should be able to participate remotely.

3/23 Meeting: Game Jam Brainstorm
Hello everyone,
This week, we will be revealing the theme for our Spring Game Jam and brainstorming game ideas! The meeting will take place on March 23rd from 7:00pm-8:30pm in Enarson Classroom Building Room 258. The meeting will be hybrid, so you can attend over Discord. While we still strongly recommend masks, per OSU policy they are no longer strictly required.
The game jam will be this weekend, starting on Friday the 25th at 5:00pm and ending on Sunday the 27th at 5:00pm. We have a different space reserved in the Union for each day. On Friday, we have the Senate Chamber, on Saturday, we have the Round Meeting Room, and on Sunday, we have the Interfaith Prayer Room. You can also participate over Discord if you wish.

3/9 Meeting: Game Night
Hello everyone,
Hope midterm season is going well! To decompress before spring break, GCC will be hosting an in-person game night on March 9th! The game night will take place from 7:00pm-8:30pm in Enarson Classroom Building 254/258. We will be playing Jackbox and Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, so please bring any controllers or devices you may need. As always, please wear a mask if you plan on attending.
We will NOT have a meeting on March 16th, as that is the week of spring break. Take some time to relax and play games!
Meetings will resume March 23rd, and we will be brainstorming for the Spring Game Jam! The game jam will take place on the weekend of March 25th-27th, so be sure to keep your schedule relatively open that weekend.
